Columbia University Combined Plan Transfer Guide

Columbia University has a "Combined Plan" which is a detailed 3-2 engineering plan. This plan guarantees admission for students with a 3.5 GPA, provided they also have a 3.5 combined GPA in pre-engineering science and mathematics courses (with no grades lower than a B the first time taken) as defined on the Columbia website:

Note that our CSIT 121 generally meets the Columbia computer requirement, however certain majors require programming experience in Java. All students should take Econ 201 - Principles of Macroeconomics while at Fredonia to meet the Columbia economics requirement. Note also that some programs require Linear algebra (Math 231) or Modern Physics (PHYS 234). Students planning on transferring to Columbia should speak with the Cooperative Engineering Director at Fredonia (Dr. Simoson) while planning their program. A detailed pre-combined program guide for Fredonia students is found here (PDF).
