The Student Research and Creativity Exposition will return to an in-person format when the annual showcase of student presentations, research papers and other projects will be held in the Williams Center on Thursday, May 5, from noon to 4 p.m.

“Over 100 students will be participating in this year's expo. For many of them, this is the culmination of their academic career,” reports SUNY Distinguished Service Professor Jack Croxton, who is also director of the Office of Student Creative Activity and Research.

President Stephen H. Kolison Jr. and Executive Vice President and Provost David Starrett will give opening remarks, and the winners of the Donald Nasca Undergraduate Research Award, established through the Fredonia College Foundation, will be announced. A buffet lunch will be served beginning at noon.

Oral presentations and performances will take place throughout the Williams Center and posters will be displayed in the Multipurpose Room from 1 to 4 p.m.

The expo, now in its 24th year, was held virtually in 2020 and 2021, due to coronavirus pandemic restrictions.

Administrators, faculty, staff, students and members of the community are invited to attend the free event.
