Mobile Device/Email Client Setup Guide

Setting up your Password

To read your FREDmail when using a mobile device, you will need to set your password. This needs to be done before attempting to set up your device or client. 

NOTE: When setting your password for use with mobile devices, you do not have to change your password. Your existing password can be entered into all 3 fields.

Turn on IMAP in Google Apps

Setup your android for email, calendar & contacts

To set up your android, follow the instructions on the Google Apps Resources site and use this SUNY Fredonia info:

  • Enter your eServices username

  • Enter the password you registered in step #1

Setup your mobile device or email client for EMAIL only 

Follow the instructions for your device on the Google Help Center Web site and use this Fredonia info:

  • Enter your eServices username

  • Enter the password you registered in step #1

Setup your mobile device FOR EMAIL, CALENDAR & CONTACTS.
