- Faculty & Staff
Would you like to work with a community organization to address a local sustainability issue in one of your classes? Are you interested in integrating community-based field trips, research projects, or other assignments into specific courses? Fredonia‘s Academic Community Exchange (FACE) center offers support for sustainability projects through workshops, networking opportunities, and help with individual course development. Working with the Office of Sponsored Programs, FACE also assists faculty members in identifying and developing grants for innovative service learning courses and other forms of academically based community engagement that address local sustainability issues.

Course and Research Development
In collaboration with the Professional Development Center, we offer course design workshops and opportunities for faculty to exchange best practices in teaching community engagement courses. Please see FACE’s list of campus and community events for upcoming workshop schedules. For help expanding or sharing your sustainability community-based research, please contact Dr. Sherri Mason, FACE's Community-Based Research Coordinator.
Getting Involved on Campus
