Dr. Jabot's teaching interests are in science education, particularly how students make sense of the physical world around them.
Dr. Jabot's current research focuses on the development of learning progressions and the conceptual diagnostic assessments that allow for measuring the impact of instruction on student learning. In particular, he focuses on the impact of geospatial reasoning and place-based science learning.
